Just. Pretty.

A string quartet tribute to Panic at the Disco's "Pretty. Odd." has been released and you can check it out here. I play the cello and I'm one of those people who actually enjoy this kind of thing. Don't ask me why, but I like hearing the instrumental covers of my favorite songs and seeing how they came out. I really like the way this came out. I've never actually bought one of these, but I'm now considering this one.

The Academy Is...to Release Soon

William Beckett told newsday.com that the new album is thought to come out around August 19 and will be released by Fueled by Ramen. The album is to be an "a celebration of youth." The band is going to release a few songs during Warped Tour. The titled hasn't yet been announced, but Beckett says it will be important for a band whose last album was named "Santi."
