Led Zeppelin are the only band to have had all their albums reach the US Billboard Top Ten. Led Zeppelin released at number ten, Led Zeppelin IV was released at number two, and Led Zeppelin II , and III, Houses of Holy, Physical Grafiti, Presence, and In Through the Out Door were all released at number one.

In 1980, the African government banned Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" after black children chose the song as an anthem against inferior education.

On his debut album, "For You" Prince played twenty-seven different intstruments.

Avril Lavigne became the youngest female to top the UK album chart in 2003 with her album, "Let Go." She was then seventeen.

In 1985, A-ha was the first Norwegian band to score a U.S. hit single with "Take on Me."
