Yesterday, the new Fall Out Boy Live CD/DVD, ****Live in Pheonix, came out. I've already listened to the whole CD and watched the concert portion of the DVD, and they were both thoroughly enjoyable. Along with the concert, the DVD includes a behind the scenes featurette of the Honda Civic Tour and all of their music videos. The CD also includes a recording of their cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" featuring the "shredology" (as Joe Trohman described it) of John Mayer. Other people featured on the DVD include Gabe Saporta, Dirty, Adam T. Siska, Charlie Mark, Jim Sevcick, and Andress Stuart

It Finally Came.

March twenty-fifth was a day I had been waiting for for a very very long time. New Panic at the Disco, Counting Crows, and Raconteurs all in one day. What more could you ask for? And on top of that, the Fall Out Boy/John Mayer cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" was put on Itunes and the Cab put a new song on their Myspace featuring the guest vocals of Patrick Stump and Brendon Urie.

I've already bought the new Panic CD, Pretty. Odd., and I can't stop listening to it. It's extremely different from their first album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. It's a much more mature, less synthesizer sound.

I haven't had a chance to listen to the Counting Crows or Raconteurs albums yet, but when I get a chance I'll write about what I think.
