Dedicated to Vanilla Ice

I found this video today when doing some major youtubing. I like covers, a lot. I enjoy seeing different artists takes on classic songs. I thought this one was really good, though no one will ever be able to do ANYTHING better than David Bowie and Freddie Mercury.

Yesterday, the new Fall Out Boy Live CD/DVD, ****Live in Pheonix, came out. I've already listened to the whole CD and watched the concert portion of the DVD, and they were both thoroughly enjoyable. Along with the concert, the DVD includes a behind the scenes featurette of the Honda Civic Tour and all of their music videos. The CD also includes a recording of their cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" featuring the "shredology" (as Joe Trohman described it) of John Mayer. Other people featured on the DVD include Gabe Saporta, Dirty, Adam T. Siska, Charlie Mark, Jim Sevcick, and Andress Stuart

Loose Lips

Last night, I went to the 40 Watt to see Kimya Dawson. She was so great. Angelo Spencer and Paul Baribeau opened for her, and they were both equally as good. She was so nice and down to Earth. There was a little boy there and it was his fifth birthday and she got everyone to sing for him and then later she let him come on stage and sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star With her. I got one of her band's, Antsy Pants, CD. I haven't listened to very much of it, but I like it so far. I'll write some more about it when I listen to the whole thing. I also got three buttons for my bulliten board.
